Q.I received notice of the debtor's discharge, but my claim was not paid?

A.A debtor's discharge does not necessarily mean the bankruptcy case has ended nor does it mean the trustee is no longer pursuing assets for the benefit of creditors. However, the vast majority of the individual Chapter 7 bankruptcies have no assets from which creditors can be paid. Contact the Case Trustee to find out the status.
