Q.Are online contracts valid and binding?

A.Most are. As of October 1, 2000, electronic contracts and electronic signatures are just as legal and enforceable as traditional paper contracts signed in ink (so long as the basic elements of a contract are met). An electronic contract can take the form of a "click wrap agreement" where you click a button that says, "I accept" or a singular contract created by one, sent via email and "signed" by another with an electronic signature indicating acceptance.
