A.An effective job description should limit itself to the position and essential job functions.
- Job title, name of department, name of supervisor, and date.
- A short summary of the job’s basic purpose.
- Employee's responsibilities.
- Job Specifications (e.g., experience, education, complexity of duties and supervision).
If its not job related, don't mention it. A job advertisement should never mention gender, age, race, family, etc...
