Q.If there are so many costs involved with Probate, What Are Its Advantages?

A.The proceedings are controlled by a judge, who can decide disputes between heirs or between the heirs and the executor. Creditors are required to submit their claims against the estate within a four-month period, provided they have been properly notified of the probate. The executor is typically required to prepare an accounting and report his activities to the Court. The attorney and executor fees are set by statute and are often about the same or less than the fees that will be paid to administer a trust.
