Partnerships

A partnership is the relationship between two or more individuals who own and operate a business. Like the sole proprietorship, the partnership does not enjoy limited liability protection afforded to corporations and LLCs, and the income gained or lost is reported on the individual owner's tax returns. Although not required by law, every partnership should have a written partnerhip agreement.
